Himchari lies along the Marine Drive a short ride south of town, where the coastal hills of the national park come right down to the shore. A long staircase leads up to a viewpoint looking across the sand and surf in both directions. A small waterfall trickles off the hillside, flowing best in the rainy months. The drive itself, with sea on one side and hills on the other, is one of the best parts of the trip.
How to get there
About 30 minutes south of Kolatoli along the Marine Drive by CNG, jeep or open-top 'chander gari'.
Good to know
Combine with Inani on the same half-day trip. The staircase is steep, so take it slowly in the heat.
