Rayerkathi, just north of Pirojpur town, was the seat of a local zamindar family. The estate holds mansions, temples and ponds in various states of decay, with trees growing from the brickwork. Some temples are still in use by local worshippers. It is an atmospheric place for a short heritage walk.
